Growers of Impala lily hybrids
Our interest in Rosy Adeniums started with us staying right next to the Kruger National Park where Impala lilies (Adenium multiflorums) are indiginous.
We were lucky to be able to grow, buy and sell Impala lily seedlings to the Letaba shop of the Kruger National Park,
but eventually somebody else took our business with the Park and we had to think of something else.
We imported 10 different hybrids of single petal Adenium plants for ourself which we found very interesting because we only knew our own species from this area.
A few years later we saw that people from Thailand managed to hybridize the Adeniums to look like Roses.
They used an Adenium doxon which had multi petals and crosed them with single petal Adeniums and created the first double layer petal flowers.
Eventually they hybridised the double petal flowers to have triple layers of petals etc..
Now we are importing Rosy Adenium plants to make it easier for everybody to own these beautiful flowers.
